Good Loops

Good Loops started out of the need for intimate recorded performances. The appeal and ability to capture attention of listeners, as well as the direct emotional impact of a well performed instrument, were always central to me.

The mission is to capture those performances, clean them up and release those recordings as raw material, so you can quickly create lively sketches and drafts of your musical ideas.

Capturing that special performance has always been my main focus. Even in programming music it is vital to make the programming come alive: music is a live art, and recorded and produced music has to reflect that as best as possible.

Even though my love for handmade music is very deep, I enjoy working with and programming electronic instruments as well, and have closely worked with and designed sounds for u-he, the gold standard in software synthesis and the makers of Zebra3 and Zebra2, DIVA and other virtual instruments and effect plug-ins.

Live performances - sliced and looped.
